I love the 80's... I love villains. Some of my faves are from everyone's favorite on and off again Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. As much as I loved Eastman and Laird's gritty black and white indie comic(probably the first indie comic I read), I have fond memories of the goofy cartoon. From the Rocksteady and Bebop to the ridiculous Technodrome they had some great baddies. I am starting a series of prints featuring some of my favorite 80's villains from comics, TV and videogames. Here are my versions of Shredder and Krang!

3rd Annual Drawing for Life!
Poster by Tim LenoirIt's time to prepare for the 3rd Annual Drawing for Life. DFL is a 12 hour drawing marathon with all the money raised and art sold going towards The American Cancer Sociey. This is Logan Zawacki's brainchild and has grown exponentially over the last couple of years. What started with two artists, then six artists, has now grown to 14 artists! I'm not gonna lie, I am pretty intimidated by this group and the face this will be now open to the public. I know the majority of the artists and I look forward to spending the day with them(my birthday, no less!). I am nervous and exited for this event. I believe in this cause and am honored to be part of Drawing for Life for the second year in a row. I'll do my best to hold up my end of the art!
Returning artists: Logan Zawacki, David King, Rob Jones, Brian Gray, Tim Lenoir, Ed Dansart
New artists: ToyCrusher, Josh Hoye, Yvonne Lozano, Ashlii Lanni, Squiddust, Chad Landenberger, Shea Slemmer, and Shaun Thurston!
Holy crap what a line up! With these artists with different styles and backrounds, I see this being a big success!
