The Dragon boss from Ghosts N' Goblins... I remember how the NES couldn't do tubular curvy shapes... So big snake and dragon enemies were segmented. Which I think is more intimidating actually.

Big Man from Ghosts N' Goblins... Ogres with heart tattoos and red speedos. A truly lethal combination...

Skeleton!

Skeleton (GhostsNGoblins) Skeleton are skulls on the ground, and when Arthur gets close up they spring up and start hopping like frogs!

Flying Knight...

Flying knight from Ghosts N' Goblins(NES)... Armor haunted by the ghosts of knights who were slain by monsters. These unhappy spirits wander through the air, attacking any people that they encounter.

Forest Ghost...

The Ghosts N' Goblins series continues with the Forest Ghost from Level 1 and throughout the game.

Zombie...

Zombie from Ghosts N' Goblins for the NES. Finished Zelda monsters last week now I'm on to Ghosts N' Goblins. I wanted to do something less popular yet not totally obscure. I have some SMB baddies done so they will be next on the list after these guys... I have a featured artist show in April so I need to want to have stuff done!

Forest Ghost and Big Man...

Astaroth!

The devil king of the Makai from the Ghosts N' Goblins series... I remember him being called Satan and then it becoming Astaroth later. Not sure if that was a Nintendo censorship thing or Capcom Love this game but it is hard as crap and cheaper than free soda. "A trap devised by Satan?" I have to start from the beginning?! *expletive deleted* 18" X 24" acrylic on canvas.
