Mr. Tamura.. The Koala Executive!

In this edition of eb5k at the movies, I take on at Minoru Kawasaki's Executive Koala... This is definitely a difficult movie to encapsulate in a few words. I guess you could call it a revenge/thriller/surreal/comedy/love story with a koala. Mr. Tamura works as a mild mannered salary man, has a bunny for a boss and there's a frog that's a clerk at a convenient store. Everyone else is human and otherwise indifferent to these animal men(for the most part). The main plot revolves around Mr. Tamuara's missing wife and the reasons for her possible disappearance. There are crazy dream sequences, violent flashbacks, and musical numbers that create a very unique cinematic experience. If you are the over-thinking, overly critical, film snob type, this movie is not for you. If you are a fan of the absurd and the bizarre, it doesn't get much stranger. I guarantee you will be asking yourself " What the f*ck is going on?" at least a dozen times while watching it...
