One of my OC's: Shyloh... She's a sexy robot bounty hunter that smashes robots for money... I gave her more of a samurai look to her armor. I hope to one day ACTUALLY start this comic... I keep redesigning her. I need to get a writer! :)

Machine Girl Sketch...

Here is a quick sketch and the first in my "eb5k at the movies" series... This is going to be some of my favorite characters from some of the crazier movies I like. This is Ami from the Japanese movie "Machine Girl". A school girl with a gun for an arm. How awesome is that? Pretty darn awesome. As promising a premise as it is, its not that great movie. Gory, strange and entertaining as hell though. Don't try to follow or make sense the story or continuity. Just sit back and enjoy the ridiculous gore and special effects. Think of a Troma movie and you can get an idea of the overall vibe. Crazy and violent... If that kind of cinema is up your alley, check it out. Not for the overthinker or the squeamish.

Sunday Shyloh Sketch...

After the 8-bit show I'm gonna work on a full length, full color Shyloh comic. I'm gonna go back to a sketchier looser style and the story is going to be insane!

Haven't actually put a sketch on the 'ol blog in a while. Had a good sketching session late Sunday night. I liked this image and decided to add a little color. I don't remember who, but someone told me I should either draw cute girls with robots and/or make cute robot girls. Sounds like a plan to me! This is the first of a series hopefully.

Taiwan sketch #3: Clops and Shorty...

Couple more character sketches I did while I was overseas. The little guy is a villain in the vain of Shazam's Dr. Sivana and the cyclops guy is one of his henchman.

Another character sketch I did in Taiwan... This is the mad scientist character in the Shyloh comic. Looking to do a full Shyloh comic by the end of the year. Hopefully this will be the last re-design I do for these characters, but I have been saying this for a while... :)

Random Shyloh sketches...

The inaugural drink and draw was a blast. Good beer, good people, crazy sketches and probably the most ridiculous conversations ever! I had a blast and look forward to our monthly meetings! Thanks to Josh Hoye, Ashley Lanni, Nicole Middleton and James Hance for getting this thing started... We got some cool things in the works! Stay tuned!

Finished up Scarecrow as part of my Legion of Doom series... 11 more to go! 13 villains in the LOD...Crazy! Might go back and forth with other groups while I am doing this...

Electro is done and The Sinister Six is complete! Working on the Legion of Doom as I type this. Looking to do more villain groups... The Enforcers, The Wrecking Crew, Hellfire Club etc. All my fave Marvel and DC baddies down the road. I don't know why, but I think the villains are cooler...
